TAD cellulose (trough air drying) is a tissue manufactured by using hot air to dry the mass. By passing through a perforated cylinder, the humid mass is dried by hot air coming from the inside (the traditional drying process is performed on the surface of the hot and smooth cylinder).
The TAD technology enables to manufacture the tissue of a double volume and capacity to absorb while maintaining the same grammage of a traditionally manufactured tissue. The additional advantages are high durability and a very low level of dustiness. These factors are of key importance for our company’s success in the development of the high quality TAD products.
