The LAMIX company was founded as a one-person business entity in April 1991. Since the very begining the company's major activity was the trade as well as the distribution of the hygenic and paper products. An increasing and an absorptive market of these products as well as the aspiration to become a highly specialised enterprise was a basis to make up a decision about organizing its own paper processing plant.

March 1995 was the company's turning point, when it was transformed from a trading into a production one. Since that time a continuous development of the plant through investments into new technological lines, some specialised transportation as well as its own production sites takes place. The care for natural environment remains a crucial aspect of the activities introduced by the company. The constant improvement of the production process is being conducted by taking into account the most strict ecological norms.

The crucial investment - while taking into consideration the long-term company's development - is the construction of the paper processing complex together with the paper mill. The decision regarding the construction of the plant was dictated by the desire to deliver the products searched by the more and more demanding customers as the company's key to success is the knowledge as well as fulfilment of the clients' needs. The result of the implementation of more and more effective methods and instruments within the management process was the start-up of the paper machine conducted in October 2004 in the newly-built plant. It is one of the latest machines in Poland with the capacity of 20 thousand tonnes per year, able to produce tissue and a high quality crepe paper used to produce the industrial hygienic articles. This investment has strengthened the enterprise's position within the market of the hygenic articles' producers.
